Whenever we hire someone new, I take it as an opportunity to reestablish how easy our software is to learn and use. I always learn that something could be made easier, maybe with less clicks or more clear labels. This time, our new hire is a veteran of the surveillance industry, and he knows many different video surveillance systems on the market.
THIS is going to be fun. I'll write a follow up at the end of today.

Well, I forgot to write this follow up, didn't I?
In short, our day of training and teaching with Stephan Kleemeyer, our Casino Sales Manager located in Las Vegas, NV, had a lot to say about how Airship fits well with Casinos as it is. He also had a great many ideas (some big, some detailed) about how to improve Airship for Casino customers. He also had good reasoning behind his recommendations, which is nice. Context helps figure out detailed design decisions.
Stephan is now back in Las Vegas, talking with a number of folks in the Casino industry. Oh and some of concerns went straight to design and development and some have already been fixed - like playing backwards. Who knew?
